Pork goes to French Lake Butcher Shop in July.
We went back to our roots on how pork used to be and how it should be raised. All of our pork is corn and soy-free for higher quality and more flavorful meat.
We take pride in raising our pigs ethically in pastures with plenty of space. Pork raised in this manner is more sustainable and better tasting.
This is the deposit for a whole hog. This ensures that you will join the waiting list. The specifications for your cuts will be communicated through our butcher.

- Shoulder steaks
- Baby back ribs/ ribs
- Roasts
- Chops
- Sausage
- Ham
- Bacon
- Plus fat, and organs.
*Allowed one sausage per half hog (ground pork, brats, breakfast, etc).
The price per hanging pound varies depending on the cuts you choose. We charge $3.75/lb x hanging weight. There is an additional processing fee at the butcher you will be in charge of paying, typically between $2.00-$4.00/lb at hanging weight depending on if you choose a natural cure or not.
The typical weight of a whole hog is around 200-230 pounds.
